Queenslander Renovations

  • TaskRenovation and Extension

Renovation of 4 bedroom home.

Our clients wanted to modernise their home whilst still keeping it’s colonial style charm, a renovation which successfully combined both looks.

Remove existing kitchen and dividing walls between lounge and kitchen to provide larger lounge and better flow between lounge and rear deck. Install new aluminium bifold doors between lounge and deck to create an appealing indoor/outdoor space.

Plan, design and install new kitchen in 2-pac with caesar stone bench top and metallic glass splash back.

Line new walls and ceilings in pre-primed VJ linings and replace existing windows with new timber windows.

Install new colonial fret work above doors in bedrooms. Create built-in wardrobes in all bedrooms and fit with mirrored sliding glass doors. Create new linen cupboard in hallway and finish with sliding doors with colonial style inserts.

Replace damaged floorboards, s and and polish.

Reconfigure main bedroom to allow for new ensuite and linen cupboard. Reconfigure main bathroom to incorporate bath, toilet and shower.

Both ensuite and bathroom were fitted with frameless shower screens, 2-pac vanities with stone tops and bathroom fittings and fixtures.
