Located in Camp Hill, the house is in a DCP (demolition control precient) which meant that it was unable to be knocked down unless a major development application was lodged, it was also deemed to be classed under the small code as it has less that 15mtrs in street frontage even though it is on a block larger than 450m2.
The owners made a conscious decision to renovate without completing a major DA and to comply the house was raised and slid forward on the block. The house went from being a modest 3 bedroom one bathroom home to a 4 bedroom, study, ensuite, main and guest bathroom, media room, 2 lounges, dining area with front and rear decks which complete the open plan living. The kitchen flows to the generous upper level deck which gives sweeping views of the city.
